Some architects have proposed to replace slum housing with a pair of skyscrapers stacked by plenty of colored shipping containers in developing countries.

They believe that recycled container house manufacturers could be stacked to create high-density, cost-save housing in urban areas – building on a string of innovative proposals for the storage structures from architects and designers, varying from a cross-shaped little home to a grand skyscraper.
